Tonight I participated in a webinar led by Jeremy Pettit, the National Director of Awana Youth Ministries, to learn about the new Trek program being released.
This fall I will have the opportunity to lead a group of youth, some who are not being effectively reached by youth groups in their church, with the Trek material.
I have been excited about the new Trek, but after seeing it, I am eager to receive the materials and begin with this new group. I see this as being a great tool to help reach and help these youth grow closer to God.
The Trek material is well designed and thought out. I see it engaging the youth and providing the leader with the tools they need to effectively lead the group, while allowing the flexibility to customize it to your group.
I encourage you to check out the other training webinars available – currently June 19th and July 2nd or a “live” training when there is one in your area.
