It’s a common question, how can I show appreciation to those who give of their time in ministry to children?
For me, the best gift I have received is a heart felt, hand written note or card from a child or their parent sharing how their life has been impacted. I cherish those notes, cards and gifts and look to them when I get discouraged.
Another way is a small gift to show your appreciation. There are two web sites that I would like to share with you if you are looking for a way to show appreciation to those who serve in children’s ministry.
Before I mention them, I need to leave this disclaimer that I do not receive any compensation from either of these web sites, and I have not received anything in return for mentioning them here.
Christian Tools of Affirmation – Purposeful products to help you encourage God’s people. I have used some of these items myself and they have been received well by those who have received them.
All in Favors – Another fine place to get more personalized items. They will work with you to try to get you want you want. From candy Sundaes, special candy bar wrappers, and imagine baby poop for a theme night! They note that the site is under construction because they are always adding items.
If you are looking to retain your volunteers, then show them that you appreciate them!
