It’s Missionary Monday and today I am spotlighting Lanty Moss. I have served on the Moss’ ministry team since they became missionaries 3 years ago. It is a pleasure serving alongside of Lanty as he serves churches and helps equip them to reach children for Jesus through the Awana ministry.
I asked Lanty some questions and below are his answers:
What area do you serve?
NYPenn (New York Pennsylvania)
Specifically South Central Pennsylvania & Western Maryland
How long have you been an Awana Missionary? 3 years
# of churches under your care: Approx. 160
Fun Facts: Favorite food, favorite sport, something interesting people don’t know about you, etc….
Lanty is a big fan of Chick-fil-A and enjoys watching football, especially WVU
Why are you an Awana Missionary?
To help train leaders to reach their communities with the Gospel through Awana
Share something God is doing in your ministry
God is reaching many kids and they are coming to know Him as Savior. Many more are learning to love Him and His Word and we are seeing kids trained to serve in the church and community.
How can we specifically pray for you over the next month?
Pray for our Commander College 101 being held in Hershey, PA in January as well as all the events that are coming up (AwanaGames, Bible Quizzing, Sparks-a-Rama, Summit, etc). Also pray that God will lead us to folks that will partner with us in supporting the ministry financially.
