As you can see by the screenshot of his website taken today and his post on the Awana Forums, Matt is shutting down his website. He has been providing resources for several years and does have a heart to help others. We are saddened to see such a resource fall by the wayside, as we have seen others do.
Rest assured that CommanderBill.net is strong and is not planning to shutdown anytme soon. We are preparing for the T&T revision, the addition of the Sparks SkyStormer materials and the revised training. We are also planning for updates to our web site coming this summer.
Our goal has always been to support and promote Awana HQ as we provide resources and information to a network of Awana leaders. Together, we can do great things for the Lord.
Likewise, sorry to see Matt close. I haven’t ordered anything in a while so I feel a little guilty. :-/ Just curious if/why Awana HQ put the ‘squeeze’ on his site?? I never thought he was in direct competition with HQ. Thanks Matt (if you read this) for your dedication to God and kids through Awana! Stay strong Commander Bill 🙂
