Last night on CMConnect Radio, we talked about divorce, the impact it has on children and how we can minister to those children. Stats are not in favor of those who are affected by divorce, especially the children. It is a very emotional topic that impacted those on the panel discussing it.
I wanted to take a moment to say that there is hope for those who go thorugh divorce and their children, but it takes work and support. Remember the commercial for Life Alert where an elderly person has fallen and cries for help by saying, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”?
Well in life, we fall (sin) and we can have trouble getting back up – but we have to try or we’ve failed. We can get back up and the best illustration of that is by looking at this video of Nick Vujicic. I have had the privilege of seeing Nick in person. He is a man who loves God and wants to draw others to Him through his life. Watch this video and be encouraged.
