Here I am in Grove City, Ohio the night before the CMLeader conference begins. Had a great ride over with Pastor Tom Bump (who I’ve known for and done camp with for several years) and a great dinner with Barbara Graves (who I just met in person).
Tomorrow, Thursday, I’ll continue tweeting and blogging from the conference. While I am looking forward to hearing from several other children’s ministry leaders and learning how to minister more effectively, I’m also looking forward to meeting and networking with other children’s ministry leaders I’ve talked to on-line and others. We can learn so much from one another. I even got a great idea tonight from something Barbara has done in her ministry that I may need to try.
It’s going to be a great “vacation” from my full-time job to spend these few days with other kidmin peeps!
