You may have heard the phrase that April showers bring May flowers. We don’t mind the showers as much during April because we know that with those showers, nature comes alive! Grass turns green, flowers bloom, trees begin to bear leaves and fruit. It is a great time filled with hope and inspiration.
This April, I’m not only excited about my lawn getting green and lush, there is also a different kind of excitement for me. I will be one of a group of bloggers heading to Awana Headquarters at the end of the month to get a behind the scenes look at Awana, what’s new, and their plans for the future. This time is filled with hope and inspiration, dare I say a re-birth! As we talk about this event on Twitter, we’ll be using the hashtag #Awana14Launch. I do have a confession to make. I have been to Awana Headquarters three times over the last several years and in all those visits, I have yet to have the honor of meeting Art Rorheim. I am hopeful that during this visit, I will have a chance to meet him and maybe have my picture taken with him. I do plan on getting a picture of myself pointing to my name on the wall of Awana.
