Awana families may not fully understand why their child has not received a handbook or uniform. They may not always agree with your decisions, but they all need to hear the Gospel.
Some parents are actively involved in helping their child in their Awana books. Others are not involved as we would like them. May we be thankful that they entrust their children to us so we can share the things of God with them through Awana.
Pray for parents that they will be understanding during this season and that they will seek God as they disciple their children. Pray for those parents and families who may not know Jesus, that they be given an opportunity to hear the Gospel this year. Pray for those families in difficult situations that they may find hope in Jesus. Pray for marriages to be strengthened, children to feel secure and loved, and for the family to grow closer to God together.
